Celebrating

data-driven quality improvement

in General Practice and Aboriginal Medical Services around Australia

APPLICATIONS OPEN FROM 1ST AUGUST - 30TH SEPTEMBER 2024

The PenCS Awards provide an opportunity to acknowledge the continuous hard work and achievements of primary health care in Australia.

The PenCS Awards recognise excellence in data-driven quality improvement in General Practice and Aboriginal Medical Services, across Australia, by using health informatics.

This event was created to align with our PenCS guiding principles, which advocate that a high-performing health system should endeavour to achieve the objectives of the quintuple aim:

1. Improve individual’s experience of healthcare;

2. Improve population health;

3. Reduce per capita cost of healthcare delivery;

4. Improve professional experience of delivering care; and

5. Advance health equity.

Research shows that data-driven improvement is a foundation building block for high performing primary care that guides clinical excellence and improves patient outcomes.
